Scheduled

As part of the ongoing NetApp storage migration, we have identified several NAS servers that still have SMB1 enabled. The new storage platform does not support SMB1, so this protocol will be disabled in preparation for the migration.

There is no impact to modern systems (Windows 10/11, supported Windows Server versions, macOS, Linux). Only legacy systems that rely exclusively on SMB1 may lose access (for example: Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, older embedded devices, scanners, or copiers).

The following servers will have SMB1 disabled:
FILEU, FILEP, FILES, FILEQ, FILEC, CORPAPP, CORPAPPDEV, CORPPROJ, FILEA, FILED, AHSFILE, FILEZ

If you are aware of any systems that still require SMB1 access, please contact IT as soon as possible.

Thank you.
