git.uwaterloo.ca and git-ist.private.uwaterloo.ca - application maintenance - Outage Jul 2, 2026 08:00-10:00 EDT

Starting at or around 8:00am on Thursday the 2nd of July, git.uwaterloo.ca and git-ist.private.uwaterloo.ca will be upgraded to version 19.1. Service interruption between 1 to 2 hours is expected. Enginnering 3 Network Switch Offline - Outage
Resolved - Switches came back online after power was restored to the area.

Update - The switches are offline due to an unplanned power outage. Plant Operations is currently on site investigating the issue.

Network Switch Offline in Conrad Grebel University College - Outage
Resolved - Network switches came back up shortly after the power was repaired.

Investigating - IST Networks is aware of several offline switches in CGR due to a power outage. Wired and wireless networks are currently unavailable. IST Networks is monitoring the offline equipment and will restore services as soon as power is back.

Unplanned Power Outage in Stratford - Outage
Resolved - IST is aware of a network outage at our DMS (Stratford) location. It has been reported to us that there is currently an unplanned power outage at that location.

We will track the reachability of network devices in that location once the power returns.


UPDATE: Power has been restored and network devices are back online.
